I got three rock chips in the window just driving my GT3 home from the dealer on the back roads. I have them meticulously detailed, but I also drive them hard!

When I use on my wife's SUV I do 2 thin coats and it never runs/drips, but my wheels are ceramic coated so it may just "bead" on the surface regardless - does it bead on wheels that are ceramic coated?

No. My wheels have Optimum Gloss Coat. No beading.

Lex has gotten me to buy several products already including the Armor All and Master Blaster, to date, I've only used the MB and this rec has delivered great results. The AA will have to wait till the temps warm up, not recommended for use in 30 degree weather.

It looks bad on gloss black wheels too, leaving an uneven haze with a rainbow effect easily visible against the black. It also doesn't apply easily to the barrels, which I also like to keep clean. It did keep the brake dust down though!

I'm sure this isn't over-applied BTW, I tried various levels of application on each wheel and they all either did this or didn't repel the dust wheel (under-applied).

Here is a photo of the bare wheel followed by a photo of the same wheel after the Armor All protectant has dried.

Mine was addressed yesterday and looks great!
I'm glad to see the chip disappeared so well! Fortunately the couple of rock hits I heard after I fell in behind your car didn't leave any significant mark that I can find.

Sorry to hear about the spoiler. Was that from the cow guards or the low water crossing dips? You did do a great job of balancing safety versus fun as the lead car BTW. Well done!

Here's an image of the first leg just for fun. This was a really narrow tight stretch of rolling Hill Country road. Just to provide scale, the section shown is only about a mile of the 8 mile length of that road. On the ground it felt even tighter and curvier than it seems here.

If you saw the amount of brake dust after being out all day Sat. I will take the Outlast results over that any day. I did them this evening, 2 light coats on each wheel after trying it on one wheel first, and I will let you know my thoughts in a couple days. By the way, what is Master Blaster?

Here's two Master Blasters. Both are outfitted in black and extremely powerful!
