I'd like to know what COBB has to say about the sport response button and it's use.

Are you referring to the over boost button for 22 seconds? I doubt that makes you go any faster, it just takes you from any mode, to instant everything ready to go. So if you were lazing along and suddenly needed to overtake something.

Well. Your overall weight could be much lower. Not Targa, you maybe weigh less, less gas in the tank, etc.

I doubt that. I am a big guy. 260 lbs. And I just filled up before the run, totally full tank. Oh and run 5 was uphill. 3 was flat.

I asked Mitch about the sport settings during the tune. He said it made no difference which mode you were using, they all produced the same results.
I actually asked him to pro tune in sports + so thats why this question came up..

I think the modes only change shift points and hold rpm's longer.

Unfamiliar with Cobb's AP platform, but if somebody could export a 3rd gear pull as a CSV and share it I'd appreciate it.

I tend to agree. Other platforms do things like, when you select sport + not only do they hold the gears longer, but they run the thermo fans constantly. I have also dyno'd other platforms and tried the different modes on the dyno and it did not make a difference.

4 point 0: I did a half dozen runs today in 3rd gear and sent the logs over to SPD. Curious to see if I am still falling off at high rpms...

Cool, the more data we get the better. After looking at the 3rd gear runs of mine, how much timing its pulling, I badly need Pro-Tune!

Thank you!

Was this on 93? Will look at it closer at home tonight; trying to see how the timing holds up throughout the pull. It's pulling a bit past 4200...but starts getting back. Fuel pumps looking strong as well!!!
E85 should be interesting

Noted!

The timing retard is interesting in that range. From my BMW days, could be a few things...probably just needs a bit more refinement with fueling. My hunch is saying too much boost...but that could also just be too aggressive of fueling. Curious to see how tuning for this engine develops over time.

Thank you for the log
