Default Larger diameter tailpipes

Wondering if anyone has tried to install larger diameter tailpipes on a 991.1 CS. with PSE. Now that I've installed the PSE exhaust in my 2012.5 I feel the need for larger exhaust tips to sorta fill in the openings a little more. It would be pretty hard ,I suppose, given the offset of the current PSE tips.

I installed the Fabspeed tail pipes which are about 1/4” larger in diameter than the OEM tail pipes.

Are you referring to the 50 emblem on the 50th anniversary?

Must be...I can see why if I had not known myself.

On your initial install tighten the bolts properly and let the engine warm up to normal operating temperature so that your pipes get nice and hot. Let the engine cool down sufficiently and recheck the torque of the nuts and bolts to ensure your tail pipes are on firmly to mitigate the possibility of a tail pipe falling off down the road.

What does that mean when it says it does not hit against the free-standing exhaust pipe? And what is the source of the material? I would like to see the rest of it to see why there is a X dimension, and what it is.

In the Porsche Sports Exhaust (PSE) there are two (2) exhaust pipes to the left & right as I’m sure you’re aware. The free - standing exhaust pipe is that without the nut/bolt to secure the tail pipe. Refer to the pictures. The source of the material is the 2015 Porsche Factory Workshop Service Manual. One of our members shared the link several months ago.

Tail Pipe Dimensions

Free - Standing exhaust pipes are located on the inside on each side (L &R)
