Tirerack's website claims 295/30-20 is only approved for 20x10" to 20x11" wheels and will not mount on an OE 20x11.5" wheel. I could swear I saw that some folks had the 295" tires mounted on 12" Turbo-S centerlocks, so I would think they would mount on a 11.5" wheel as well.

I had my local dealer put them on my TTS with no issue at all.
You our shouldn’t have any issues.

"Important Note:
Rear: 295/30-20 is approved for winter only. Tire rim range i s 10.0" to 11.0" but can be extended to 11.5" if a Pors che approved N-Spec tire is paired with a Porsche appro ved wheel. Do not mount on original equipment 20X12" wh eel."
Tire rack refuses to mount them on 12" rears but I had my own shop do it and it is fine, not ideal but just fine. On an 11.5 rear I would think it would be "ideal".

Oddly, I see that Tirerack is okay with the Pirelli Winter Sottozero Serie II 295/30 being mounted in 11.5 wheels. But not the Michelin Pilot Alpin PA4 295/30 for some reason. Michelin's website also say the 295/30s should be mounted on 10-11" wheels.
Ugh. Is annoying that Michelin doesn't make 305/30 PA4s.
Thanks again.

Here is what is on the tire rack site:

I could swear I saw that myself somewhere a week ago or so, but all I see now, in my shopping cart at Tirerack, is this:
Important Notes
Rear: 295/30-20 is only approved for winter use, requires 20X 10" to 11" wheel. Will not mount on OE 20X11.5" wheel! Match with 245/35-20 front fitment.

Closing the loop, I went ahead and ordered the Michelin winter tires. They were delivered yesterday. They’ll go on my incoming GTS’s stock wheels (the 5-lug option with 11.5” wide rear wheels) and that’ll be my winter setup. Still researching the aftermarket summer setup.
Thanks, all, for the feedback. And thanks to Damon at tire rack for all his help.

Michelin does not recommend them on 11.5 wide wheels either. They are not warrrantied by manufacturer if you stretch them on the 11.5 wheels. I called Michelin customer service to confirm. I am sure they work for normal driving but I ended getting pirelli Soto winter 19’s on OZ’s as no one had Michelin 19’s in stock. Figured why mess with a critical component like tires.
