Default PEC Atlanta

On a biz trip in Atlanta and managed to ****** a last minute session for the 911T Manual tomorrow. Wooo Hooo. Lots less HP than my GTS but guessing more than enough for the course and to flesh out the limits of the chassis on the short course. Haven't tracked mine yet so this should be a treat

I've been several times. The handling course is excellent but not a track; however, the low friction stuff is the best!

You'll have fun, for sure! Wringing out someone else's car is always less stressful as your liability is limited (somewhat) compared to the worst case scenario in the event you crashed your own car. Have fun, and be safe!

Eat a light lunch if you're driving afterwards. Don't skip the museum. Everything is fun, agree the low-friction is the best. Doing awd donuts on the wet skidpad will always be in my life's highlight reel!

AGREED! I got red line in 3rd twice/lap but agree, the low friction course was the best sideways for about 10 turns. You're going to love it OP!!

Just finished. 911T MT Sport Chrono. A few observations:

1) Probaly don’t need the 450hp of my GTS, 370 was still more than enough even on the track, let alone public roads
2) Instruction was superb. Instructor was active team racer, when he saw I was comfortable with car let me push with excellent coaching. Passed everything except GT3. Panamera’s and 718’s were road blocks
3) Every other model in the line up is there to support the R&D and attention that goes to the 911 line
4) The Skid plate, low friction course and skid pad were humbling
5) Absolutely amazing what even a base is capable of. Thought I was using maybe 1/2 of my car’s capability. Make that 1/8th
6) At end instructor did a couple hot laps with me as passenger - was almost worth the cost of the course alone
7) Worth paying to do that with their car’s not mine. Barber Motorsports Porsche Track Expereince in my future
8) Thier PEC cars are reconditioned then sold through dealers as CPO. Hmmmm.

I'll be there on 1/23 for the delivery of my C4S, thanks for the insights.
