Default Plastidip emblems on basalt

Did this over the weekend. What do you think?
Sorry for the poor pictures.

Getting my exhaust tips ceramic coated and thinking of clear tail lights.

I like. I am getting ready to spray my emblems, too. Don't go for clear lenses; they're funny looking.

Stealthy.

Keep the red lenses.

Now, work on that black plastic rear valence next.

Looks good. I want to do this too but I’m afraid of screwing it up somehow. I’m not a fan of the chrome I have right now.

Please don't be afraid. It is extremely easy! Make sure to mask your whole car and let it dry between coats.

Is your car Guards Red?

Yes, my car is Guards Red.

I’ve watched a few videos and I’m thinking I’ll give it a try.

It's surprisingly easy. Really quite remarkable product. Good luck.

There's always a learning curve when trying stuff like this for the first time, but the amazing thing about PlastiDip is that if you make a mistake, you can just peel it off and start over again with no problem.

I've done loads of dip projects with my past cars, including my current 991, and with each job I get a little better (quicker, cleaner, more professional looking). Here's a before and after shot when I did the rims, but you can also see the black stone guards. They're just a few layers of PlastiDip on top of the OEM clear stone guards. If you have questions or want any advice on the most important things to focus on when starting a dip project, feel free to PM me. Happy to help you learn from my mistakes.
