The 991 search is over...
Having recently celebrated my 60th birthday, I decided that I had been without a 911 too long. I traded in my 2009 911 S for a Cayenne S back in 2011 because I needed a boat hauler more than a sports car. I never regretted buying the Cayenne, because it's one of the best Porsches I've ever owner, but I have regretted letting go of the 997. I've been casually looking at 911's for a few years, but when the 60th started getting closer, the search got more intense. Last week, I was able to make a deal on a 2013 911 C2S that is almost perfect. It's hard enough looking for a car with full leather, but when you throw in the SportDesign fascia and duck tail, Chrono and PSE, the pickin's get very slim. The car was at a small dealership in VA that specializes in custom Jeeps and they took this car in as a trade. It was priced WAY too high, and probably never got the exposure it needed. Although, it did hit the RL HFS thread, but right in the middle of a heated PCCB discussion, so it went unnoticed. I credit the dealer for doing an outstanding job with photos and even a video.
MSRP was $146,000!! To quote Ron White, "She is L O A D E D!" Way more leather than even I would have speced.
I hope to have her in my driveway in ATL by this time tomorrow. Time to clean out the garage.
I'd post the build sheet if I could figure out how.

Thanks! As far as I can tell the car only needs 2 things - TechArt Springs and a SportDesign steering wheel (which I just purchased from a fellow Rennlister who replaced his with a 991.2 wheel).

My Cayenne is black and my Boxster S was black, so I know the pain that goes with the beauty. I was actually looking for an Agate Gray, but when I saw this car I lost all sense of practicality.

Yes. That's the one. I just offered what I thought it was worth (thousands less than they were asking) and was surprised when the dealership owner wasn't offended, but was ready to make a deal.
