im thinking about buying soul cat bypass pipes for my non pse base 991.2. Anyone here have any experience with these ? How is the sound ? What are the performance gains ? Anybody’s car throw a CEL ?

I can’t speak for the Soul pipes but I just installed my Fabspeed cat deletes and can’t say how happy I am with them. It gives you a subtle increase in exhaust note at idle, you hear the turbo more and it crackles on hard decel really nicely. Best of all, if you don’t want to hear it, just turn the drive mode to 0 and forget it’s there.

Oh and did I mention no highway drone?

Mine have no drone. Install took some extra work I’m told but my shop was easily able to make adjustment. I’m tuned for catless so no CEL. Not going to speculate on warranty other than say you should get over warranty or you won’t be modding your car. These are Porsche’s not some other known brand that are not well engineered. The exhaust on mine was much louder but not anywhere close to too loud. I think the exhaust note is perfect now for my PSE car. I recommend.
