New 991.1S Owner
Hello All,
Just want to write a quick story on my recent purchase of a fellow forum member's 991. I was originally looking at 997.2 S's, and decided to bump it up to the 991...The 991 is night and day better IMO. I began my search for a 991.1 S, and Churchill posted his...the only snag..the car was in LA, I'm in Tampa....what could be more fun, than a cross country road trip in 911?? It turned into more of a light cannonball drive. We made it in a total of about 39 hours - 2,628 miles. Looking forward to years of ownership with this wonderful vehicle.

It's a trip you'll never forget! I remember years ago flying from Boston to Willoughby, OH and picking up a new Boxster S. I left the dealership at 5PM and drove 10 hours home (alone). The thing that kept me awake in the wee hours was the deer I kept seeing alongside and IN the road in NY. It was a blast!
I just purchased a 2013 911 C2S that's 500 miles away. This time, I'm paying someone to bring it to me in an enclosed trailer. One late night road trip was enough for me.
Beautiful car! You made the right choice. Enjoy!
