Default Is something missing on my keyless go?

Looks like a small cover panel fell out. Sorry for the picture size.

Go to the dealer and get a replacement, probably costs $1 plus $299 Porsche tax.

There are several on line parts centers with on line catalogs. Google it.

You are missing part B in this diagram. It covers the emergency key release mechanism that you are seeing.

It appears to be this part number: 970-618-959-00

See: https://www.renntech.org/forums/topi...er-of-this-is/

Here it is on the Gaudin Porsche web site, but the savings there are probably not worthwhile due to shipping cost. It is "only" $16.40 retail.

Thanks. I called the dealer and ordered part 7pp911094 for $7.

Maybe that's the wrong part.

Guess you have to wait until you get it, but it appears to be the wrong part.

Storm's post above is the correct part number, I think.

Yep. I canceled my order.

The correct part is no longer offered by Porsche.

Checking with Suncoast.

Thanks for the help!

Can't you just order from the link Storm provided. They seem to be in stock.

Got this at a local dealer after all.

I'm guessing it may be the smallest most expensive part on my car.

Thanks for the help gang. My OCD can test for a bit.

I had a similar situation shortly after buying the car. I got the part and subsequently broke it while trying to install it.

This thread has inspired me to buy another and try again, armed with Storm’s instructions.
