I’m picking up my car from the shop today. I had Soul cats, BMC air filter, and Akra diffuser installed. I can’t wait! Will post my thoughts. It won’t be long before I put a tune on. Cobb or VF? Decisions decisions...
I recently bought a pair of Soul Cats from Vivid Racing (talk to Austin) and after I get them installed Thursday I will be out about $2k, which is peanuts for what the end result will be. Search for "Soul" threads here for info, sound clips, etc. There are several that make the cats but most are 200 cell, which is what you want.
I’d second Bob’s recommendation in calling Vivd and speaking with Austin. He’ll hook you up.

I don’t have PSE - it’s a 4 (not S) with quad tips. As I am a bit of a noob to the 991.2 and modding in general - would this be in place of Soul Cats or this is just an exhaust? Difference between this exhaust and standard non PSE in the C4?
That was a pic of my 991.2 S NON-PSE "valved" exhaust with the AWE sport cats. PM replies don't seem to be working, I would want $900 plus shipping for the sport cats ($2233 retail)
I have the Hydra Tune along with Soul Catless by-pass pipes with PSE and BMC Filter and the sound is glorious …. AMS Intercooler on the way and a retune soon!!!
I just picked up my GTS from the shop. Had Soul cats, BMC air filter, and Akra diffuser installed. The exhaust is at a whole new level now. It's not obnoxiously loud but definitely louder and deeper than stock. My mind might be playing tricks but I think I hear more turbo woosh after the install. It's definitely breathing a bit better with these two mods.
I absolutely love the look of the Akra diffuser. I didn't care for the bland plastic piece that Porsche slapped on a 6 figure car.
