Default 991.1 PCCB Upgrade Options

Happy holidays all! I have a 2015 Targa 4 and am really interested in upgrading to PCCB brakes. I'm assuming that if I can find the OEM 991.1 rotors (#99735103200, 99735103100, 9973520310, 99735203201) they will bolt right on and the new calipers that I would need would bolt right on, too.

I see a lot of 991.2 rotors (410/390) and calipers out there. Does anyone know if those rotors will be a direct bolt on for the 991.1 AWD configuration (same offset, etc.)? Will the only difference be new calipers that will need the Porsche PN: 997.351.505.02 bracket to mount? any help or suggestions with part numbers would be greatly appreciated!!! Thx!

You do realize that *just* a set of PCCB rotors is no less than $18,000 (USD) new, right?

Yeah, I'm gonna stick with my stock steel brakes . . . .

The only reason I would consider ordering a car with PCCB's is due to brake dust. Other than that, get the steels.

In your case, I cannot imagine it making sense to spend $20k to do the conversion. I would stick with your steels.

I'm sure someone has run the numbers, but trading into a new car with PCCB would surely be a better option all said and done?

Out of curiousity I googled for info on this. The closest thing I could find was.a kit that Suncoast sells for the GT3 that includes all of the necessary pieces for the swap. I know you're not asking about a GT3, but I'm guess the swap-out cost would be in the same ballpark... a whopping $29,700! https://www.suncoastparts.com/product/GT3991PCCB.html
