Pike Place looks fun (and sunny), and probably a better choice to visit before picking up your 991. Enjoy the anticipation--I did, traveling to Atlanta and staying at a hotel near PEC.

Do it. Take out AAA before you go

Check! All signed up, also will make it possible to skip the DMV when I register the car in California. That alone is worth the cost.

Picked up the car, super happy with it. First fill up and already taking it on a ferry.

Took the kids for a hike out at Fort Ebey. Rain, dirt, mud, I feel a little guilty welcoming the Porsche to the family like this but it's performing flawlessly and was a welcome reprive when we drove back from the hike.

Congrats, enjoy - car looks great. I did 2,500 miles to bring mine home to the Bay Area and been itching to get back out on the road since. It's a trip you'll remember for sure!

First leg Seattle to Portland was a success, not a single complaint from the kids in the back and only did one 10 minute stop for gas. Averaged 27 mpg. Car and family both running great.

Good to hear. Sounds like you can keep both.

Sounds like a fun trip! I still haven't taken our 911 on the ferry and I live in Seattle! Your car looks really sharp!
