Default My first Porsche...

Thrilled doesn't go far enough to describe how I feel about this new "for me" car. It's raw, guttural and an axe-murderer!

I put a winter wheel set on today, 19's vs the 20's it came with. The 19's are definitely a softer and quieter ride. Can anyone shed some light on the performance differences between 19s and 20s? Let's assume both tires are summer tires for a better comparison.

20's will have a bigger contact patch
19's will have more available high performance rubber to choose from

This article should shed some light on the benefits of smaller wheels. Basically the 20s only advantage over 19s is looks and maybe better breaking distance.

Do u mean it’s going to “break” sooner, or it will “brake” in a shorter distance?
