Default Considering Stealth Wrap on GT Silver T

Anyone have pics of a Stealth Wrap on a GT silver car? Now that I've had my T for 6 months it's clear to me that it's a keeper which is saying a lot for me. So now it's time to make a few changes to make it mote unique. I really like the stealth wraps on Black cars but I haven't seen it on GT Silver.

I'm guessing this is over GT silver. I PMed the owner but he never got back to me.

Yes. There are a few threads on it with pics. Matte film GT Silver RS

I have also seen a GT Silver GT3RS in person with a Xpel stealth wrap and it looked amazing. One thing to note to your installer is asking them how they are going to wrap the door handles. The shop where I saw the wrapped RS used a spray film of some sort because they could not wrap the handle with regular film. It was experimental at the time so not sure how it held up to all the constant touching.

My car is Rhodium Silver and while it still looks pretty cool the GT silver is awesome so I'm still on the fence about it.

Consider Satin Guard as it was the first satin ppf made available in 2010. Prestige Film Technologies just launched their next gen and we did a video on it comparing it to 2 other brands:

OP, hope you don't mind my jumping on your thread with a related question. I have thought about wrapping my GT Silver roof only with stealth just to obtain a different look. It probably would cost that much to experiment but just thought I would throw it out for comments from the 991 crowd. My 991 is sunroof delete. I already have expel in all necessary locations.

that looks pretty cool. reminds me of BMW's frozen dark grey -- but without the upkeep problems! how much more expensive (if at all) is stealth over ultimate? look forward to seeing photos when you're done.

I did full Matte PPF with Moe @ GP on my Agate Gray Panamera GTS and it is a stunner. I also did Matte PPF on My Tesla Red Multi Coat and love the way it came out.

With the PPF, the installer is key, find the best possible installer and you will love it! I also would recommend the Ceramic coating on top, it makes cleaning much easier.

Having said that, I have a Laguna Seca Blue M3 and I would never even consider doing a Matte PPF on such a bright and stunning color.

I say go for it!

This is super sexy...especially as a Targa. Perhaps it is the lighting but it appears a bit dark for GT Silver, no?

Slightly off topic but I am looking for a source to get some Miami Blue wrap, or a color that was very, very close. If someone can help please let me know.

Look up vinyl film manufacturer Inozetek. They have a Miami Blue that I think is Porsche based, not sure how much of an exact match. Check their Instagram for examples but they have a Maritime Blue comparison that’s pretty close.
