Looking to add the aerokit spoiler to my 991.1 C2S. I already have the sport design bumper so I want to add to the aggressive look. Just for comparisons sake does any one have pics of the aerokit wing next to the GT3 wing? Just curious about the height difference. Thanks!

Unscientific but based on these pictures of my GTS and a 991.1 GT3 If I had to guess I'd say the GT3 is a bit higher. However with all things Aero the height difference is a small factor in the overall setup and balance. If you're running a GTS front splitter you'd probably want to stick with the GTS aerokit rear


ducktail/wing. Or if you want a GT3 rear wing you'd want to at least run the GT3 front splitter which is way more aggressive the the GTS front.

Thanks for the response. Yea i'm leaning more towards the aerokit spoiler. The GT3 spoiler with the standard rear bumper looks a tad awkward. Can you see the spoiler from your rear view mirror?

GT3 wing sits higher in the rear window than the Aerokit. Had the Aerokit on my previous 4S and really liked the balance and aggressive look.

Then it's definitely lower than the GT3, because the GT3 spoiler is smack in the middle of the rear window as seen from the rear view mirror. The GT3 spoiler is pretty tall, although in the picture posted above it doesn't appear so.

Really like mine...the GT3 rear wing is higher than the Cup kit and is why it produces more downforce.

I cannot see mine in the rear view mirror and I'm 6'.

I have gt3 wing on my 911S. It's pretty tall. It definitely obstructs the view in my rear view mirror. I do like the way it looks though.

Wow looks awesome actually, do you have pics of just the rear? And did your dealer do the programming to disable the standard wing?

I actually bought the car with the GT3 wing already installed so I'm not sure what had to be done to disable the factory wing. I was lucky enough to track down original owner and he still had the factory deck lid in his garage. He gave me the factory deck lid for shipping cost. I could snap a few pics later if you want. I don't really have many pics of the rear exclusively.

No worries, thanks for the info. I'm debating between the two, but it's very hard to find pics with the C2/C2S with the GT3 wing.

I had the Aero on my previous C2. I never saw the wing in the rearview mirror. I barely can see out the rear window of the GT3, in is quite a bit higher.

Thanks for all the info guys. I will be going ahead and ordering the Aerokit spoiler kit from suncoast. My body shop has quoted $1200 for install and paint for the spoiler is that a good price? Also, anyone that has done the dealer programming to disable the standard wing how much did you pay?
