Default Shipping company recommendation?

Any good recommendation for enclosed shipping from OK to CA? Intercity estimated 3-6 weeks to pick up the car, possibly after new year, which is a bit late for me. Thanks

Yep, I just went through this. All the big guys will take your money today, and then tell you that they will pick up the car “sometime in the next 6 weeks”. Totally out of touch with today’s online buyer.

Anyway, call Jackie at US Luxury Shippers. He’ll pick up the car in a matter of days. Tell him I sent you.

you should be able to get cars shipped in a week, not months. Look thru the internet

I would be surprised if they picked your car up in January. In addition to the Cavallino Classic (Intercity is the official carrier) there is Barrett-Jackson in January and a lot of carriers are booked up for that. Intercity can typically run 6 weeks out but I really don’t think you will get them in January.

Here’s another carrier

You can always try uShip, which I have used a couple times for motorcycles but there are some that only move a couple cars at a time and a friend uses them all the time since he buys & sells for a living.

Next week Plycar Transport/Logistics is shipping our cars from MD to CA in an enclosed transport. Required a 2 week lead time to schedule with a 3 -day window for pick-up and then 10-day window for drop-off

I was planning to use Reliable, but their window was 3 to 8 weeks; and that was too open for my needs. I needed to start a new job in CA last week.

I DO NOT recommend Ship Your Car Now unless you enjoy being told different dates from different people as you await your car to show up as the driver is taking a 3 day vacation in Florida with your car in his trailer. Or maybe if you like your car smelling like smoke inside from driver smoking in his trailer with your car windows down. Also if you like the idea of a scratch under your bumper from the wood ramp extensions popping up upon car being taken out of the trailer. Of course most of this is driver specific but unless you want to deal with this sort of thing then I highly recommend to not use their service.

Head west on I-40, bring a good radar detector, you'll be there before you know it.

These guys use their own trucks and don't broker out. I used them for a cross country move. Communication was great and they picked up/dropped off in a small time window. Driver was extremely friendly and I was able to call him anytime during the move. No surprises and everything went like clockwork.
