something similar
Although not quite as bad in a little town outside myrtle beach. I had the cruise control on and did not even notice the speed zone. $200 for lawyer and $200 for bad equipment citation. Always get a lawyer and I'm sure he has one on retainer. Only place this has not worked is a small town in VA where lawyers have not worked out a deal with the judges yet.

He was cited for reckless driving.
It occurred to me that no one besides AB knows how fast he was going!
Loca police in Pennsylvania don’t have radar. They do have VASCAR, etc but it doesn’t sound like any of that equipment was set up in advance.
The police car chasing him likely didn’t have enough time to pace him... so how could anyone prove he was going 100 mph?

One time I got pulled over for 155 in a 55. I roll down the window, and looked down at the little LEO. He says to me, "I am not Happy". So I said to him, "Then which one are you, Grumpy or Sneezy?". That's when the fight broke out.

Excellent catch, no pun intended. He must have bought it used, or he was just not thinking (probably the latter) since the Yellow calipers would have been perfect for his car.

Jeez...in the Republic of Connecticut anything over 85 could land you in jail.
Couple of months ago, going 87 in a 55 zone got me a "congratulatory citation" for $299 (at least how I sold it to the wife). I call it the "license and registration" range.
A 100 in a 45 would be "keys and handcuffs" territory!

I wish I had my Porsche when I lived in MT back in the days when there was no speed limit on highways, or when speeding was a $5 on the spot waste of energy fine with no points.
