How much can I expect off MSRP for a new 911 GTS 2019?
In December of 2017 I bought a new 2018 zo6 corvette 2lz that had an msrp of $89,570 for $78k + tax. How much should I realistically expect to get off of msrp from a new 2019 911 GTS if the msrp is at $135k? I live in south Florida so Champion Porsche is fairly close to me but I have never been there and yes I am aware of their employees stealing customer deposits so Porsche of broward county isn’t that far from me either.

When was the warranty started?
The 992 is days away.
The 911 driving season is essentially over.
Though a rare GTS, you need a bigger discount, especially if the car is just sitting there.
Champion has been in the negative light the past couple months, time to take advantage of them.
This should be moved to the 991 Forum.

I had great service buying my car at champion talk to Brian Wagner great guy tell him I referred you. I think deal will depend on availability. GTS is a great choice good luck.

The 992 reveal is potentially close, but a GTS version is a couple of years away
OP is in Florida. South Florida it seems. It's always 911 season there
I wouldn't think Champion is vulnerable. Maybe in the GT side of the business, but I suspect they continue to get plenty of walk-in traffic. Would be curious to know how many door swings they lost through their issues.
As for the GTS OP, it varies. Determine what you're willing to spend and go for it. You either negotiate your way there or walk away.

Find out how long it has been on the lot and if a while find out when they punched it in for warranty as LexVan asked. If you like it make an offer at 15k off and see what they say; however, if you really like it bump your offer up because it could get snapped up soon, even with the 992's debut soon. And don't worry about it being at Champion since it was just one rogue employee that took deposits for himself, and the negative publicity could work in your favor.

I have never ever heard of a dealer giving 10% off on a new GTS. If you did, I would assume it was for a car in stock that had been sitting for a while and right before a model change.
Congrats to anyone getting or who got 10% OFF, you did GREAT.

These deals are great if you can find what you are looking for through the Rennlist dealership.

Limited availability now, GTS in 992 likely not for a couple years at least.
Dealerships wony have any any issue moving the inventory so likelihood of big discount is not highly probable (depending on option setup of course).
For every story you hear on the forum where somebody got 10% off sticker for a new build, there are dozens that paid close to MSRP (maybe token 2-3% discount).
My suggestion is to weigh the desire for a big discount to losing out on picking up the vehicle. Is it worth the $5k or whatever difference?

I was essentially unable to get a discount from any Dealer on a custom ordered, paint to sample GTS Targa. Taking any car out of dealer stock is always a way to get some sort of discount. But, when a dealer has limited allocations and has to lay out money for a custom color (PTS) car that may or may not be easy to move once built to a customers spec, there was no way for me to get anything near 10% off..

phx991: You had the ***** to post what I was thinking. 15k/10% off on a brand new GTS? I don't believe it either but, anything is possible I guess...
Maybe it was a dealer demo or trade in? Pre owned? Thats an insane discount on a car that sells easily at MSRP.
