Default PCM Auto Restart. '17 C2

My PCM restarted once yesterday and three times this morning. I know it needs to go to service, but just wanted to report it in case others were having a similar issue. If so, how was it resolved?

I am about to leave for a few weeks on business travel so I won't be able to get it serviced for awhile.

Sorry to hear this - hope they can fix it or replace the PCM for you if needed!

I have an old iPhone hooked up to it for iTunes. I wonder if that is causing the thing to go bonkers. I'll try unplugging that and see what happens. I really don't want them to tear out my dash.

I don’t think it would be the iPhone. I have a very old 160gig original iPod hooked to mine which obviously is a different PCM as mine is 991.1, but that does not seem likely drive your PCM crazy. If it was incompatible, it simply would not play,

I know the 991.1's have a different PCM, but last year I was also having some issues with repeated reboots of my PCM. The dealer did a software upgrade and I think there was also an iPhone update to the bluetooth settings. Between the two, I haven't had much of a problem since. Maybe one random reboot in the past 6 months.

Hope they're able to diagnose and fix your issue. It's a minor, but very annoying problem.
