Default GTS Rear Grill or ?? Curious on Options, Any Members with One for Sale?

Hi Everyone,

I really am obsessed with changing the rear deck lid, I don't want to spend the $1700 on ordering a GTS one from Suncoast, but I am getting close and tempted. Questions, anyone tried to make a 991.2 rear grill work? Can it? Or is anyone trying to sell their GTS grill?
Looking at the R Grill or GT3 Touring grill, there is a lot of options, I also ponder the idea of making my own somehow, little outlaw action on a 991.1? Curious to people's thoughts

Thanks!
Jason

What's different about the grill?

Edit: sorry, you have a 991.1

As a fellow 991.1 owner, I agree that I would like to see some reasonably priced 991.2, GT3, or R grille. $1700-$2900, even in the Porsche world, is a little ridiculous.

I have a 911R grill on mine. Willing to part with it. Make an offer.

Bought the car recently which came with it and don't mind putting the original one back on.

Don’t do GTS. Do 3 Touring or R (don’t order the badge)

I would be very interested! I will PM you!

My thoughts are there should be a great option out there for around $700-$900 and there just isn't. I'm a bit surprised as the car has been out for a long while now. If I had the 991.2 I would not care, I think that grill looks great!

I guess I am biased but I went with the Miami Blue-painted option for the slats on the Targa GTS I am waiting for...should look sweet.

Agreed. Why has someone (*cough* or Porsche) not come out with a 991.2 base-style grille for the 991.1? It's things like this that make me make me feel like I should buy a $20k 3D printer just so that I can personally make a sub $1K part to right the wrongs of the world for my own piece of mind.
