I can say on a 12in they just don’t look right and don’t work by enough that 11.5in is pushing it, but that is within bridgestone’s recommended rim width so I am curious to see someone who has them on 11.5in. I have some 8.5in front, 11in rear wheels coming for my car. Those should work perfectly. 11.5in I am interested to see! Someone must have done it by now.

Bridgestone Potenza RE980AS in Atlanta.

Don’t bother asking either Hennessy Porsche Atlanta or Perimeter Porsche Atlanta about these tires. They’ll niether mount them, nor will they order them. They’ll do nothing. They are both incredibly ingnorant about anything other than a summer ‘Porsche tire’ on a 911. The SA’s will tell you that it’s perfectly safe to daily drive a PZero all winter in Atlanta. At ot below 32F. Even after you tell them that it’s a real daily driver. None of them have ever personally done this of of course - They’ve just read about it. They’ll also sneer at the idea of winters. Redneck meat puppets, pretending to be worldly.

These people reflect the the education that turns even the tiniest snowfall in Atlanta, into a zombie apocalypse. They’re essentially pimping their tires, whilst begging for a five star rating.

Sorry they are on back order.

I have almost 1000 miles on them on my GT3 and I am very happy. They are great in cold. Single digit cold, zero issues. I drove when there was some moistness on the road and it was fine too. I am going to keep running them as long as they sell them. I can’t say I can even hear the tires, but the GT3 is not quiet inside anyway so YMMV.

Gorgeous car.

Lovely home. Somewhere deep in the Appalachians perhaps ? I can almost hear the banjo music. I now understand the wooden steering wheel

Ha, thanks, and no, I live on the main line outside Philadelphia. I bought my “hovel” when I was 23 and can’t bring myself to part ways with it. It’s a great area and I love the house.

I also have this place which everyone calls the castle (see if you can spot the GT3) and I split time. I have spent untold hours redoing the wood in this one (oil stain, tung oil etc..).

Lol. Well played. If you were ever inclined to get a personalized plate - I’d suggest a play on ‘Woodman’. Funny on a number of levels

I bought my car from Porsche Mainline. Mr. Grape, good dude. Funny name.

Tim is a cool guy. I met him a couple times. I bought mine from Taylor Derbyshire at Main Line who was awesome.

Do they throw less rocks against the car than OEM tires. I currently have a 2017 C2S that picks up everything.....then assaults the car.

I don’t have a basis for comparison, but I constantly hear pebbles so probably not.

Argh - tires now delayed until end of March. This is awful.

Installed the Bridgestones recently on my '17 TT for anyone wondering about fitment. Not sure the width of my wheels but I believe they are 11.5 on the rears.
