Does anyone have pics of these tires mounted on the standard 11.5 inch wheels on the 991.2 C2/C4?

I’d like to see this as well. I believe my center locks (991.1 GTS) are 11.5 Inches and I’m curious as to how the Potenzas would look.

I'm drawing this conclusion after seeing these mounted on the pictures above, which were 12" rims on a GTS. They appear stretched and expose the side of the rim.
Niez,

Could you post some photos of the Bridgestones on your car please ? Throw us a frickin bone here

Just back from running errands on a rainy cold day (41F) and found acorns around every corner. These Bridgestones just might be the answer for a DD in RVA.

I am a bit confused with the comments in this thread regarding wheel width and tire fitment. I have a 17 C2S. Is the consensus that these tires (305) will not fit the wheels???

Thanks

I think it's too early to make that conclusion based on the info in this thread. WE know two things so far:
1) It doesn't look great on 12 inch rims. However I don't know if this is a safety issue or just an aesthetics...

2) We known that one user has mounted them to 11 inch rims and doesn't recommend them on rims larger than that.

We haven't seen what they look like on 11.5 inch rims, so I think it's too early to draw any conclusions.

My point on the comment regarding 11.5 rim was meant to say they will look a little stretched, but honestly they probably would perform just fine.

I should get mine next week, but I'm not going to put them on my factory wheels. Wanted more weather flexibility. Having them mounted on O.Z. Leggera HLTs in 20x8.5 and 20x11.

I would have preferred to get a second set of factory wheels but not enough people are selling their 991.2 factory wheels yet.

I figured out why the Potenza AS doesn’t fit a 12” rim (your car, and any 991.2 with centerlocks.). They weren’t designed for it - The measured rim* for the rear tire is 11” and the rim range is 10.5” - 11.5”. So they’ll fit a rear that is within that range. Not 12”. Same deal with the fronts. These tires will fit an 11” rear (any wide body 991.1 without centerlocks) and they’re advertised to fit (rim range) any ceterlock 991.1 and a non centerlock 991.2.

I now know more about wheels than I wanted to. I’ve attached the web page below for reference to rim range etc.

* The measuring rim width is the industry standardized rim width upon which the tire must be mounted in order to confirm it meets its dimensional targets.

Thank you. The question I have is the contact patch or (width) on the is P-Zero is 12.3". I'll keep searching but would like to know what it is on the RE980AS, I'm guessing it should be pretty close. My buddy and I both have 2017 S's and are looking at these.
