I was not sure how to install, when playing with them before placement, if I followed the window trim line, the lip was slightly crooked.
When making the lip cover the pillar, it made the bottom against the window trim slightly crooked. I sort of split it a bit and followed the bottom trim-line.
I looked at pictures before hand and it seemed to vary.
Is this correct/acceptable? W/O the lip lining up with the pillar?

A little one way or the other will not affect their purpose so whichever way looks best to you is what is best!

No offense to those that like the stick on ones but the AWEs look better IMO, like an OEM piece and not stuck on; however, to each their own, but I am glad there are choices!

Three Wheelin'
None taken....functionality is what I was looking for and the Blackmills cut down the buffeting better than the AWEs.

They are noticeable on my car, but I have grey mirrors on my Carrera T, if the mirror was body color or black it probably would not be as noticeable, IMO.
I do wish the packaging and website had an exact position or recommendation to install. Following the bottom window trim makes them look crooked when I get in an out of my car after having them on a couple days. Not much, but just a little off.
They definitely work, there is no buffeting at all. None.
