Default Touch up paint for Satin Black GTS wheels?

Has anyone found a touch up paint that works well on Satin Black GTS wheels?

Porsche apparently doesn’t sell touch up paint for wheels. Suncoast sells a silver wheel paint, but not a black one.

I’ve seen recommendations for Halfords’ Satin Black paint, but it seems they won’t ship outside the UK. . .

Hey dd!
Try calling a person in your area that repairs curb rash on wheels. They have several colors to match wheels they repair so should be able to help you.
hope it helps!

Thank you GraSox. Good idea.

I'd still like to get a can or bottle to cover my Close Encounters with the Curb in the future. . .

I found matte black paint pens that work perfectly to touch up small imperfections/debris marks. When home I’ll take a pic and post the pen details here.

Satin should have more sheen to it than Matte although I think they are closer than what they should be.

Thanks all. I'm going to test this VHT wheel paint, which comes in Satin Black and is available on Amazon. http://www.vhtpaint.com/high-heat/vht-wheel-paint

Will report back. . .

+1 - after wheel gets covered in brake dust, no one will be able to see where you Sharpied the wheel

I had a heck of a time finding touch up paint for my satin platinum wheels. I know its not the same color, but the Color N Drive guys were great for having the right color if you have the original Porsche paint code. It took two tries, but the second batch was spot on. Turns out, Porsche changed the color over the years and they didn't know. They sent the right color (from Turkey no less) for free and quickly, so good service. You might check with them.

Covered in brake dust? You let your wheels get covered in brake dust?!

Surprised the Sharpie doesn't come back off when you wash the wheels. . .

It will over time, and turn a purple-ish hue as well.

Search for Birchwood Casey super black touch up pens. Available in flat and gloss. It's typically used on firearms. It's black, not purple like a sharpie and lasts forever.
