Default Finally got my sport wheel and installed it

Took about 20 Minutes to install my sport wheel this morning. Everything works except going to neutral as expected. Porsche wants $200 for the programming here in Houston. Anyone in Houston have a PIWIS??

Looks great! Where did you purchase the wheel? I am looking to do the same but I have the multi-function wheel.

If you would like to keep the multifunction capability you can add paddles from Techart.I did this on mine and love it! Best of both worlds. Techart Paddles for 991.1 mutifunction wheel The Techart installation replaces the thumb buttons with a dummy.

Is the wheel thicker than the old wheel? Does the airbag need to be replaced as well?

As long as you order a 991.1 wheel and have a 991.1 car no airbag needs to be replaced. Same if you have a 991.2 car order a 991.2 wheel and the airbag will fit. I know Suncoast sells multifunction, but I am not sure how they install and I do know there are countless threads about this, I think I have read them all.

I am interested in upgrading to the 991.2 multifunction wheel so it appears that I would also need to purchase a 991.2 airbag.
