Default Most Aggressive AIR Foiler for 991

I bought the awe https://www.awe-tuning.com/awe-tuning-porsche-foiler-wind-diffuser

Great fit and finish but I always drive with windows down. Is there another that block more wind?

Looks like the blackmill is more aggressive. I'll put them on and compare to the other ones so others can make an informed decision.

I would have gone with the blackmill product simply because the fit, finish and install appeared better than the AWE counterpart. However, on the chance the double sided tape fails at speed, I don't want a metal projectile scraping down the side of my car and into whoever is behind me. I know much bigger things are held on with tape, it just made me uncomfortable so I installed the AWE unit, which I wish worked to foil the air just a bit better.

If you're going blackmill you might as well stick a pair of dive planes on each side of the car to complete the look. I will say this though about that tape they are using: no way are those coming off!

I agree the blackmill isnt as visually appealing as the awe but I'm all for which one redirects less air into the cabin. if the blackmill does a better job I'm sure I can live with its "uglyness".

That Blackmill thing is atrocious. I installed an AWE on each window, and the buffeting during track days is completely gone.

I can vouch that the Blackmill is good to 145 mph....no buffeting.

On my 981 I am not sure the AWE product really made that much of a difference. I have the parts ready to install on my T but I am going to hold off to see how things go.

Based on discussions on here since the 991 appeared in spring 2012, they all work. I made an easily removable one from scrap plastic and it worked perfectly, even with only one side installed. It doesn't have to displace much air to work.

Yeah, I have had my license plate on the front of my Cayenne 5 years and 65k plus miles. Hasn't budged and inch. If you use the right tape and prep it right, these things are on tight!
