Again, don't wait and do it now (first thing in the morning) and if they cannot provide something then it would behoove you to find an allocation elsewhere before they are gone. My SA told me today they were swamped this weekend and sold several cars and took orders on just as many.

I had the deposit discussion with my dealer in Ocala Fl as well. They told me pretty much what most everyone else is saying. I was concerned like others about the what if scenario ( house burns down, death in family, what ever life happens kinda thing) my dealer and service manager looked at my build FIRST, THEN SIMPLY SAID there is no reason they would deny me a refund of my deposit in the event of an emergency or something happening. Because my car would sell very easily. However they did flatly say in the event that I would have ordered a car with unusually chosen options or colors that would make the car extremely hard to sell they would definitely keep the deposit.
On a side note a couple weeks after placing my deposit I was at the dealer when another gentleman came in and we were discussing a change I wanted to my build when he became slightly upset with the SA. He purchased a car on the lot because the adviser told him he did not have any allocations. The reason was because I test drove the T he purchased two weeks before him and placed my deposit for there last allocation a week before him. So when he showed up looking for a T there was no allocations left and his only option was to purchase the car the dealer had on the lot. In short when you secure an allocation you lock out an opportunity for someone else. Tying up two with deposits knowing your not going to use both is bad juju.

Yeap screen shot etc. sent them an email with the list tonight, SA texted me back that they would have everything ready for me in the morning.
they haven’t charged my credit card for deposit yet, so I will take a check with me as well.

I had my deposit in to get the next available allocation. As soon as my dealer got the allocation they put in my order. Porsche accepted the order and I got my confirmation number and v200 status. Now its all about the lock date and the waiting game.

Yayyy...
order is in. It was very easy and quick.
they had everything ready for me. Even before I signed anything or gave them a deposit.
they entered the order in, got me screen shots and print outs of the order with confirmation number.
they immediately got an email from Porsche with pdf attached to fill out for the Personalized door sills. To be returned in 7 days. They gave a print out and emailed the pdf to me as well.
After i was completely satisfied, we finally signed the sales contract showing the exact out the door price with tax, reg. Title and fees, that we had agreed on.the sales manager and I both signed two copies one for them and one for me. Painless.

My GT3 deposit is non refundable. The only thing I was worried about is the possibility of huge tariffs sometime inbetween ordering and delivery. They told me that would be refundable as it would have to be a whole new deal if it happens.
