I plan on installing a rear facing camera, wondering if the tint on the rear glass would affect that.
could go with a lighter tint on the rear, but don’t want to if I don’t have to

I think it should be fine. I have the rear dash cam w/ the tint and no issue so far. However, I only have about ~60% tint.

cool, I am thinking of doing 45% tint. May go a littile higher. Want keep a light tint all around. Nothing dark

Is it confirmed that the GT3RS has tinted lightweight glass? My PPF/tint shop stated that I should not tint the lightweight "Gorilla Glass" as it adheres differently than normal glass.

Only GT2 RS and T have lightweight glass. Also there are no issues tinting it. As long as its glass there are no issues.

old thread, but here's my T with 40% Huper Optik Ceramic all around. 20% on the windshield.

the 40% and huper reflection makes it barely noticeable, but huge difference in heat. love it.
