I like to use these sponges to apply too. The contour shape is nice. Can be used over and over. Apply a little to the sponge, and coat tire a few times waiting 5 minutes between coats for deeper and more shine.

I disagree. I don't think any of us are talking about the old tire spray that they use at used car dealers! Treating the tires with the products in this thread are what the car needs to be completed detailed.

Really? I have used it for years and have NEVER had it sling off. I apply it lightly and work it in well and when I am done I go back around with the sponge I use to apply it and wipe each tire around once.
