Mine is with me at all times except during DE events - he is a competent co pilot and expert company. Couldn't enjoy the ride without him - we even drive the car 1700+ miles from Dallas to NYC after I bought it. Best of times with best friends - dogs love 991's!Name: photo988.jpg

LOL. I should point out that Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers do not shed much. Also, she's only 28 lbs, and she's well behaved in the
car. All of these are bonuses in favor of her riding in the 911...T

Mine is a Pomchi and he stays in a carrier on the Porsche. He is allowed to roam freely if I use my BMW.

It’s a cabriolet, so she could theoretically sit in the front seat when the top is down! That said, the nickname for my truck is: “The slobberwagon”. I don’t want that nickname for the Porsche.

I'm shopping a 911 specifically because dogs can ride in it.

We take our dogs everywhere. I was initially worried that they would shred the leather dash but it actually seems pretty indestructible. They are smaller dogs though, so who knows.

We tie down our 23 lb Scottie with a safety harness with the back seat lap belt in our cars, so she can't jump on the window sills. And we NEVER roll down the Windows with dog on board, so the dog never had incentive to get up with paws on the window sill. When the car starts rolling, she lays down and naps until we stop again. She is a great traveler, like each of our Scotties before her.

I have a 100lb German "Shedpherd" no way, I would be cleaning hair for days. If I had a doodle that didn't shed I would think about it.

My recently late basset hound loved car rides and was very well-behaved.

If it weren’t for her drooling and shedding, she would have been riding shotgun in the 911 with her ears flapping in the wind.

Our 11# Malitoo is welcome in either of our Porsches, it helps that he doesn't shed.
