About ready to pull the trigger on new 2017

I'm thinking manual cab is probably the biggest factor for it not moving. Most folks that opt for manuals are enthusiasts and most enthusiasts want hard tops (there are plenty of exceptions here in Rennlist, but I think we can all agree that as small of a percentage of manuals there are out there, there are way less manual cabs than hard tops). Also, it's Texas and no ventilated seats. And like others have said, the typical Cab 4S buyer checks lots of option boxes, which this doesn't have.
With that said, if you like the car, it's an awesome starting price which I think you can negotiate down even a little further. One thing though.....make sure it wasn't affected by Hurricane Harvey last year!!!!

I bought my first lotus from that dealer back in 2007. They had the best price on a slightly used 2006.
It is an odd build to be sure, but it is very close to what I would spec (stripper. I love strippers. It just needs some wood.)
I personally have been looking for a 991 C4 cab for a daily (used though) but I think it would be a great car. It has everything you need. 6MT etc. and very little you don’t (who pays $600 for black letters on the back).

No Power seats or heated seats in a drop top is likely the issue.

I'm sorry, I just feel like there's a joke in there that needs to be let out.
As for the OP and his car: a friend of mine bought a similar car from a dealer that had it for over a year, maybe two. He insisted on a rock-bottom price, and the dealer said "no way" but he stuck to his guns and although it took about 3 or 4 more months, eventually that car never moved and he got his price.
I concur that the MT and lack of other options has caused it to sit. I wonder though, OP, is this really what you want, or are you just intrigued? Because, you know, you don't want to be pound foolish and penny wise, or whatever that expression is. It's still a whole crap-load of money.
