What car to get rid of?
I have a few months to decide but I really think I will need to get rid of one of 3 cars and I am having a hard time deciding.
I vacillate almost every few days depending on what cars I have driven most recently.
I have my 2017 M3 competition package with manual trans, 2018 Carrera T, and 987.2 Spyder....
The M3 is driven the most because it is the best daily of the 3.
The Spyder is just so unique and the most fun to drive.
The Carrera T is a very cool car in my opinion, is fun to drive overall (not as much as Spyder though) and is the one I have a desire to tinker with and mod.
It is also the newest car and if I sell it soon I will likely lose the most on it of the 3 cars....
I also hate to stand out and the M3 is the most "modest" of the 3 cars....
I have a 2018 F150 crew cab that is my business vehicle that I can drive everyday but I would much rather drive a car...(prefer to use the truck only when visiting job sites or customers or haul something..)
If I get rid of the M3 I would likely get a 540ix for my wife. She has a Audi Q7 that will likely be replaced by a full size SUV like an Expedition or Navigator (yet another decision to make) or possibly a new BMW X7 when they come out.
She wants a larger SUV. However, the SUV is her "company vehicle" so I would get her a new personal vehicle that will fit in the garage with my 2 personal vehicles that I decide to keep (Porsche/M3/Spyder).
I already asked her if she would keep the M3 as her personal car and she would prefer a 540 or something similar. (if I keep the M3 for myself and sell one of the Porsches, not sure what I would get for her yet. need something that my daughter can also drive when she gets her permit next year)
Space is the primary issue, but cost is also a factor since I don't need so many cars and don't have the time to drive all of them as much as I wish anyway. Its a shame to have expensive cars sitting around and paying property tax. insurance, etc...
Besides the time to care for all of them. The F150 and the SUV will stay parked outside. I can fit 3 cars in the garage.
I "need" at least one Porsche to tinker with and have as my fun car....
I originally got the M3 as a replacement for my GT4 and VW Golf R to have a fun yet practical car. But I quickly realized I missed having a Porsche. Then ended up buying the Spyder and 911 T with the intention on selling whichever I liked less....
I should also mention that the M3 is a lease that is up in February. So I can just turn the keys in and walk away or buy it for around $55k.
Decisions, decisions......kind of ridiculous really....but nevertheless I do need to decide...
What would you guys choose if you had a similar situation?

If it was me: let M3 lease expire in February and return it; daily the Carrera T; Spyder for sporting drives on the weekend and such.

M3s are a dime a dozen. The 911 T, and especially the 987.2 Spyder, are anything but.
No disrespect to the M3. But in terms of being able to easily acquire another one should you so desire, the M3 is readily available.

I would’ve kept the Golf R as my daily. I love those little VW’s and I plan to trade my Camry for a GTI as my daily. I work for Toyota but I just love German engeneerin! Lol

Everyone should have a drop top in the garage. So, keeping the Spyder is an easy decision. I've cut your dilemma down by 1/3. My work is done here.

Unless you have had one (or several) for the last couple of decades and live in California. Yes, the sun shines a lot but it is HOT. Coupes for me now. I've roasted in my convertible at a redlight even when the outside temp is just 50 degrees. However, early evening cruises are hard to beat with the top down...
