Default Targa Advice Needed...

So, I had my 2018 Targa 4 GTS @ the dealer for it's first oil change...and to have the SAT radio checked out (turned out to be a short in the antenna). They ordered, painted and replaced the SAT radio antenna...my problem is that it isn't flush with the glass now...If I remember correctly, the antenna sat right against the glass (from the factory). I might be hyper sensitive...but if any Targa owners out there can snap a quick pic or just tell me theirs looks the same I would greatly appreciate it.

I will say, the tech and SA noted it, asked that I give it a couple of weeks and see if the double sided tape "flattens out" and if I am not happy then, to bring it back and they would put another one on it. I just don't want to waste any time (mine or theirs) if I am just remembering something incorrectly. I did look at some other cars on the lot (no Targas though) and the antennas seemed to have a better fit...

This is how it lays on my Cab. Maybe they use thicker tape on the glass?

It does appear that it sits up a little bit.

@ Al.Fresco, could you take a pic a little further back...so I can see what part of the antenna is forward...I have now convinced myself they put in on backwards and crooked...

Pretty sure they did.

The rounded end - the "aerodynamic" end is supposed to be pointed into the wind, not the flat edge!

That is what I thought...then I found a pic from when I brought it home...they installed it facing the correct way, I just need to figure out if I can live with that gap...
