Front and side is nice. Rear too busy and not a fan of the .2 charbroil grill and light bar. 991.1 has the nicest backside in my opinion

Weissach begins work on the next 911.

A progression of spy photos follows.

Enthusiasts voice concerns/criticism/conspiracy theories re: next 911.

The spy photos get better...leading to near-final form.

Enthusiasts offer "old one looks better" comments, some praise.

New car launches, and enthusiasts have time to "sit with" the changes.

I like it a lot. As others have mentioned, t's not that far removed from the 991. I really like the front hood detail and the wider front fenders. The mirrors seem too big (except when you're using them), not crazy about the door handles and I think the lower rear plastic molding is uncharacteristically busy. But it will provide another way to spend on options to have it painted. I'd buy one (not right away, I have a GT4 coming and I plan on keeping my 911 for several years).

Truly an "incremental change". But I like the 991.2 3D rear lights better. More expressive and elegant. The 992 rears looks more "Panamera-ish", too narrow and almost rushed. So will the AWD models lose their monopoly on the light bar? Haven't seen the interior, but if the center console goes touch pad/screen, then I'm glad I bought my 2017 when I did.

Still don’t like the headlights and the rear is too bloated.

So true! I always wonder if Porsche releases thinly disguised mules to 'hear' the thoughts of Porschephiles in tweaking the final designs.
