4-5% is very common. 8% is healthy.

0-5-6% in Florida, 2-6.5% in California. If you happen to order at the ideal time you can get more, such as when a dealer needs a sale for the next bonus level, etc.

I question those discounts for a GTS, probably good for a standard or S.

I ordered mine at 4% earlier this month on a 2019 GTS. I checked with multiple dealers within 3-400 miles of me. Next best was 2%.

I just got 6% on a Targa S order, and had several 5% offers on a Targa GTS from dealers in FL. The 6.5% offer was a dealer in CA. I can post the email replies from those dealers if you need proof. And initially I was thinking about ordering a C4S Cab, with the same discounts.

What model/trim? 4 of the 9 FL dealers would not give a discount at all on a Targa 4S but 1 would give 2%,1 $4k, 2 at 5%, and 1 at 6%.

I was unable to get anything more than 1500.00 dollars off a GTS order. No discounts to be had through out California, even from the dealer that gave me 5% on a C4S. I ended up with a new C4S order.

Not a bad 2nd choice. I did not like the wheels on the GTS (too busy) so I went with black ones on the Targa 4S. Beverly Hills Porsche offered me 6.5% and no fees but a couple weeks later he told me he could not get the allocation, but his manager probably saw the discount and said no way. So I got 6% off back here in my state (FL).

I dealt with every Porsche dealer in Cali. They were all really hard to deal with discount-wise. A couple of them asked me if I was crazy (Niello, and forgot the other one).

Ironically, Beverley Hills Porsche would keep contacting me on a GTS I inquired about and at one point were willing to come off $10K on a $143K sticker car. Last place I thought would give a discount like that.

I found it kind of fun/rewarding shopping cross country. Learned a bit and overall had a great experience with the paperwork and shipping.

Did you wind up buying from BH Porsche? I would not refer them to my friends, enemies however...
They played a dishonest game for over 2 weeks, at least Brandon Rapp did, so customer beware.

No, definitely did not! My initial interaction with them was 2 emails long. I knew it right away it wasn't going anywhere.

It's Beverley Hills though so what 'd you expect? They're banking off people with more money than brains and that "prestigious" location.
