The search is over and my 911 has arrived!

Delivery day was today and I took the keys to a White 2013 C2S. This one was a fresh CPO car with less than 17k miles and options including SC, PASM, PSE, Full Agate Leather Interior, 18-ways, Premium plus package and the Burmester system. Also had full front PPF installed. I was a little anxious about this one as I bought that car sight unseen (pics only, no in person at least), but while it is a little dirty, it looks really good at first pass. I'll go over it more carefully tonight. After having missed a couple of deals or been too passive, when this one came around I had to jump on it. I was able to put about 120 miles on it today and I enjoyed every second. Best part was that I was able to take my 3 and 4 year old along for the ride and they loved it! I moved from a 2015 C7 and a 2012 C63 before this one. Anyway, I've been looking for about 2 months and I watched the HFS thread not only for deals, but for education--what a great source of information.. I learned so much and knew this was the car when it came up. A few pics of the new addition...and my previous "fun" cars.

Cheers and thanks to those of you who helped me along the way!

Congrats! I have a '13 CPO I found 2.5 years ago and it's been a blast and virtually bulletproof

Congrats! Love it. Agate interior is awesome. Should be spec’d more often.

My excitement got the best of me and I forgot to mention what a deluxe build! Full leather and 18-ways WITH all the performance options. Don’t see the full package very often. Again nice score.

Thanks everyone! The clear side markers are #1 on my mod list. And I do love the Agate interior, very sharp in person—hard to capture the actual color in photos. Can’t wait to spend some more time in it.

Congrats! How do you like the Burmester? I love it in my 991.2.

I only had it on for about 5 minutes, but it sounded great from what I heard. Looking forward to enjoying that as well.

Beautiful with a perfect spec. Will be interesting to her how it compares to the Vette and the Mercedes.

Thanks! The Vette and C63 are both pretty different from the 911. Lots of torque, big V8s. It will be interesting to see if I miss the Corvette, but I have really missed the C63 ever since I got rid of it about 3 years back. The biggest observation so far between the 911 and the Vette has been "feel" for lack of a better word. I feel like I have much more control and don't feel like the 911 wants to kill me all the time. The Vette had so much torque at such a low RPM that it would "snap" if you weren't careful--even on street, especially if you got on the throttle too much with cool tires. That said, I did really enjoy the Vette, but I had my fun with it and am on to the 911 which has been great fun so far. Its awesome getting the engine up in the rev range-the noise and instant throttle response--hard to beat.

Congrats. You will not regret it.
