Default Suggestions for a new tire air compressor?

I've been using an old Craftsman unit and 'pocket style' digital tire gauge but I know there are newer units where you can dial in the pressure you want and flip a switch. Tried ordering one of these with good reviews from AMZN and it ended up being really junky so I sent it back. Checking and topping off air pressure in my cars, wife and daughter's cars is one of the dirtier tedious tasks of car maintenance, I find. Wonder what others do?

Amazon Amazon
and

Super quiet, compact compressor with high reliability. The tire guage has been spot-on, too.

When I add air to my daughter's Nissan, the horn honks when you hit the correct fill pressure. That's the kind of technology Porsche needs.

I use a Kobalt from Lowes. Its a little bigger than a toaster. Its been reliable for 3 years now for my two vehicles. Guage on board is closely matched to external and the small offset is consistent.

On my cayman ( 981), you could watch the tires pressures on the screen when inflating to tell when the car is happy.
On my 991.2 GTS, it wont give you the tire pressures until the car is moving, so no feedback until after you have completed topping the tires off.

I have the older version of this and it works great. 12v/120v I keep it in the garage.

For travel Lowes had a nice little 12v unit with a digital gauge and auto shutoff but they don't carry it any longer.

Get a real compressor with enough PSI to be able to run a Pneumatic Gun to remove tires.
