Wow, great price. 9K miles vs 19K miles probably saved you nearly half price.

Just wondering how you can own a Porsche for 5 years and have only 9,000 miles on it

Wow Strange
CORRECTION : He contacted me with revised pricing, 4133 for the 10/100 which seems like a great deal. Even though i have CPO till July of 19 I still may pull the trigger.

How many miles? If you want PM me and I’ll send you my contacts info. But looks like you got an aggressive deal.

So here is what i got quoted for. I have a 2012.5 CS with 29k miles on it I am looking for the longest time since I am planning to keep the car for a while. I drive less than 10k a year so 6/60k miles makes the most sense for me
Platinum 6/60 5624
Gold Plus 6/60 4327
I know the diff between the Gold Plus and the Platinum is that the Platinum is exclusionary warranty (meaning everything except the items listed that's not covered) and the Gold Plus covers only whatever is listed.
I think my biggest concern is of course the PDK and COVs which I believe is all covered under the Gold Plus. The price diff is about $1300 between the two.
I wonder what is NOT covered under the Gold plus that is covered under the platinum........
The other option is to wait until early 2020 (CPO end 4/15/2020) and then get the longest coverage at that time (could be a 5 years and the cost will be probably around $5000 for Gold plus and maybe $6000 for platinum)
suggestions?

If you are under CPO till April 2020 I don't understand why you would want to get coverage now. The Platinum plan costs $937 per year at the rate you were quoted. You would pay $1,400 for extended when you did not need it being under CPO and essentially shorten the coverage period as the extension would now be 4.5 years instead of 6 years after CPO coverage end date. Getting the coverage just before your CPO expires makes most sense to me even if it would cost a little more than today (which it may or may not). My recommendation is just to wait for a year and then start looking at this. having extended on top of the CPO does nothing for you.
I thought about it last night a little more and it totally makes sense to wait another year. even if I end up paying another $1000 12 mos later, I am getting an additional year of coverage which is worth it IMO
I also spoke with my SA, he told me that the Platinum is always the way to go (which I agree) but the Gold Plus will get me almost everything (with the exception of a few minor electronic components). I dont mind paying for a few things that's not covered (as the car gets older...is inevitable even with the Platinum coverage.....there are always exclusions so I feel that's part of ownership cost) With the PDK being my main concern, I think the Gold Plus will do it for me.
