Default What’s your favorite spray wax?

Hi all,

Cross posting from Concours forum.

I’ve playing around with Adam’s and Griot’s spray wax. I want to buy something in bulk now since I use this stuff so much (after every wash). What do you use?

my car: 991.2 white C2S with clear bra, no nano coating/etc

thanks!!

Griot’s spray wax is what I run. I use it an every car. Works awesome. Come to think of it. Griot's is the only product I have. I use their wheel cleaner, leather cleaner and tire gloss.

I have not had any issues. Makes it easier to clean in my opinion.

Yep, agree with this. It’s pretty gentle stuff and gives it a nice shine. Some people nano coat their clear bra as well.

Kenotek is fantastic. It is my favorite. Had a 5 gallon container of Adams. It works well, but Kenotek is well worth it.

You may find with a white car a sealant looks better than a wax. A sealant is optically clear which allows the surface to be as reflective as possible which makes whites and silvers look their best. A wax is opaque capturing some of the reflective light in the wax which gives darker colors a look of depth at the cost of losing some light reflective. A trade off which looks good on dark colors. Since whites have no discernible depth waxes do not enhance the look of light surfaces.

Adam's H2O Guard and Gloss is a sealant which works well after a wash. Also, I just bought from Griot's Garage their new Boss foaming system. It has a spray on/rinse off "gloss enhancement" component used after a wash which is applied with a cannon or foam gun. It looks good and it looks easy for maintenance between sealants and waxes. They got my money anyway which is what they wanted. I'll see how well it works.

Excellent product.

After fully washing and drying the car spray it on and wipe it off. I did the entire car including all the glass surfaces and my car is so easy to keep clean now and stays clean so much longer.

The glass also stays cleaner longer and when it does need cleaning it takes only a few minutes to make it near perfect.

When the car gets a bit dusty /spotted I use Chemical Guys VO7.

Can you guys recommend a product to fix or a way to buff out a very mild scratch in the driver side windshield please? If I run my finger over it I cannot feel any type of ridge or groove. It’s bothersome when I notice it.
Thank you
