Default Is this a Cracked Windshield?

I just had my cracked windshield replaced about 40 miles ago, and I'm seeing something that appears to be another crack. It looks very similar to the other lines in the windshield, but it goes from the edge of the drivers side, about halfway across the drivers half of the windshield near the bottom. It's pretty straight, but not perfectly straight. Passenger side doesn't have the same thing. I don't recall seeing this on the old windshield or when I picked it up. I took a video. Video starts showing the normal lines in the windshield, which I think are the antenna, then goes to show the possible crack I'm referring to.

My finger is pointing to where the line stops. Can anyone confirm if this is normal on a 991 windshield?

It’s your antenna. My windshield has the same setup.

It looks like the heat circuit/cable for the windshield.

Thanks everyone. I thought the antenna was in the middle of the windshield.

The antenna is in the middle of the windshield. I'm not sure what you're pointing to there. I don't have anything besides my antenna (in the middle) on my car.

I'm pointing to the end of the "crack". It goes from the drivers side to where my finger is. If you look at the youtube link you can see the crack as I pan across the windshield. But I can't really capture it in a photo.

Just visited the local dealer. Not all cars have this line. Some do, some don't. Saw a GT4 with it, and a Carrera S without it. I have a Carrera S. Very odd. I've asked them to pass the question on to Porsche.... We'll see if I ever hear back.

It's a heat strip, or an antenna, not sure which. However, I'm sure it is not a crack. I have the exact same thing on my '18 GTS. I can't think of an option I have that would make it special.

Just checked my 17 C2 S. Nothing there. Are you sure they replaced the windshield with OEM?

My 18 GTS has the antenna vertically in the middle, and then goes to the passenger side and down via the top of the winshield. electrical connections are on the left side ( passenger side) about mid height on the window.

If your am/fm works, then all is good. It is an antenna wire

Same here (also on an '18 911GTS). Not like the OP's description.
