You'll never see this rare exterior option in the configurator pictures
After searching many threads to see what black door handles look like on a non black 911 to no avail I'd love to see them on anybody's car. I think they will look great on GTS models with the black wheels and other black exterior features. I've ordered them on my 4GTS and hope they'll add a little something you might not see otherwise. But maybe it just doesn't appeal to most, or its' not a traditional look. What do you think? Thanks, Doug

It's kinda funny, the monochromatic door handles usually came on the more premium model. That's what I usually see in my non Porsche life. Classic Porsche monetization found a way to change-that.

Black handles and other stuff is very nice against red, white, and blue. My 911 has that look. When I got it wrapped I specifically ask for it. My Cayenne has it from the factory.

GT3 Touring in GBM black handles.
Might seem a bit odd, but they look fantastic in person. Matches under mirror black, black headlights, trim,...
Was a little concerned, not anymore.
Looks great. Me thinks

Black door handles only belong on a black car. They look kind of cheesy otherwise in my opinion and stick out like a sore thumb. A door handle shouldn't be accented or have attention brought to it. It should blend in. Porsche has ugly door handles as is. This probably won't be an option on the 992.

Beautiful, yes it seems to tie things together and adds to the flow of different details on your car. Thanks

Your eye goes right to the door handle. Shouldn't be a point of focus in my opinion. Not good design. One of those things where you'll get different opinions. At the end the day, it's just that.

STG, you are right...does draw some attention there. Hoping to tie it in with the black / carbon pieces elsewhere. Even in my own house its a point of discussion. 100% agreement on the rest of the build, but those handles are split decision: wife obstaining, daughter 'no way', me 'like'.

I like the black door handles. IMO, it’s a nod to earlier Porsche’s with the black handles.
My local dealer ordered cars in Miami Blue. Lave Orange and Racing Yellow, all with black handles for inventory. I thought they all looked nice. In fact I ordered my yellow car with the black handles.
I’m sure the usual crowd that has trouble buying cars that aren’t black, white or in between grey/silver will get their panties in a knot.

I ordered the Black bottom sport mirrors, Black headlights, and Black painted turbo side inlets, handles I left body color. I couldn't make up my mind so I left it alone.

Imagine the joy in the 993 days when they started body colored door handles as standard equip ...
Pre-993 ..... A Porsche 911 and we get black plastic door handles???
Maybe we should go back to black non body colored bumpers too??
