I will keep my 2018 991.2 TARGA until the 2019 Bentley Continental GT V8 is available and then I will live the dream!

Heh that sounds like a pretty rare thing for Porsche owners to dream about.

Congratulations! If I could afford a Bentley I would keep the 911 as my beater!

Dunno, but I usually find something I want in the 2-3 year time period. My 991.2 GTS is keeping me happy but I’m really excited to see the performance hybrid vehicles that are starting to show up. I’m contemplating a Panamera Turbo E-Hybrid Sport Turismo to replace my 2016 E63S Wagon, the dealer is going to give me a demo car to drive next week. It will be my first hybrid.

Ditto. Basically a totally bespoke Porsche to my personal tastes. Nothing I didn’t want and everything I did. For me buying a car like this is a once in a lifetime event unless its totaled or stolen.

I really hope this will be my “forever” car. I just bought a 6 year extended warranty as well. Of course, as long as nothing unforeseen happens to it, and I have enough room to house however many cars I may need and/or have. I think the 991.1 is an instant classic and worth keeping, and I love the example I was fortunate enough to get. So yeah, I plan on keeping it.

Based on a test drive I had in one of those at a recent Porsche track evert, your bank account could be in for a surprise when you stop grinning.

Your car looks so good! I wouldn't want to get rid of it, either!

I plan on keeping the 911T for quite some time, at least into the 992.2 generation if not later. The way I see it, Porsche’s, like iPhones, are only worth upgrading in their 2nd generation of production for a model.

I'm not sure how long I'll keep mine, my wife is partial to these...

I was thinking of only keeping mine for two years or so and upgrading to a newer used one ('13 C2S CPO, bought 10/16), but mine has so many nice options and the prices haven't dropped much in almost two years (paid $75k, original MSRP $129k), that I think I'll just hold on to it. May consider an extended warranty.

At this point I can’t see replacing for a long time. 991.1 GTS Cab ticks all the boxes. I haven’t seen anything else that comes close.

I used to be the guy that always swapped out and modded cars. This is the first car where I kept mods relatively modest with ZERO engine mods and one that I plan on keeping for a long time. When I look around on what would be a a noticeable upgrade, all I see are cars at over 130,000 dollars.

I have a 991.1 C2S, Manual with all the performance/fun options (PDCC, SPASM, PSE, and SC)

I owned this car for 4 years and have 56,000 miles. For the most part the car has been bulletproof and such a perfect, "one car does it all", for California.

The only thing I would realistically upgrade to would be a used 991.1 Turbo S or a 991.1 GT3. But both are in a price range that I can't quite swallow.

After 4 1/2 years I have no desire of trading my 991.1S. I might install an Akrapovic exhaust and forged wheels on it and keep it forever
