First image is 2 dyno pulls full stock. Second image is 3 dyno pulls with Stage 1 Cobb, otherwise stock. Cats, filter and more dyno next Tuesday.

Peak torque gain of ~75 lbs-ft and 50hp and gains everywhere above 2500rpm.... can't complain about that! Was the dyno operator able to datalog the car? In the absence of that, what was the temperature?

Were these done on a Dynojet? Also, what gear and testing conditions (temp, humidity, etc.)

Your numbers are high vs. what we've been seeing as baselines and tuned on C2 GTS's, but the gains are exactly in line. Pretty much 50-60rwhp with just a tune, 80-100rwhp with sport cats/bypass pipes & filter.

I think with equal length tube headers, sport cats/bypass pipes, filter, stg.2 tune, GTS's should be around 520-530rwhp all day.

Im curious how much better bypass pipes flow than the sport cats?

Sport cats with a tune will get additional 80 to the wheels?! Wow that’s impressive. I’m just looking into the tune (because of this thread) brand new to tuning and there are lots of insights that can be learned from this thread. So thanks! I have a 2018 gts as well. This is going to be interesting

Note that the numbers are ENGINE (i.e. crank) torque and horsepower, not wheel hp. Notice on the stock run, it says 450hp which is spot on with stock engine spec of 450hp. The torque is higher than rated at about 420tq on the dyno vs. rated 405tq. Wonder if this is due to 93oct vs 91oct?

M3thod: "Im curious how much better bypass pipes flow than the sport cats?"
That is being tested right now by BGB Motorsports. I am curious too, but bypass is just too loud and smelly for me so, I hope the difference is minimal because I just cant go bypass

BulldogR6: "Sport cats with a tune will get additional 80 to the wheels?!"
No, I dont think the sport cats will not add 80 to the wheels, but I think it might add 40-50 to the wheels. Guess we will find out on Tuesday. I'm stoked to see the numbers.

If a tune, Sports cats and filter can add 100hp then that is probably the best $3500 investment to HP you can get.
In addition, this is a canned "stock" tune. I am pretty sure that once they allow the tuners access to customize that there is more there to gain based on tuning to specific parts.

Personally, 550-600hp is my goal. I dont think I plan on changing turbos or adding intercoolers, but I dont track my car and thats where I will "probably" draw the line.
Headers and perhaps an aftermarket exhaust like Akra would be my only remaining performance upgrades..

I must have misunderstood Methods post. So these numbers on the dyno are to the crank? 50hp is still very impressive for just a tune

Im assuming this is 93. Growler is in Plano, TX, theres 93 available.

If the numbers were calculated at crank at 450hp, it makes sense, otherwise they are high. GTS's have been putting down around +400rwhp stock.

The gains calculated in my earlier post are correct though; +60rwhp with just a tune, 80-100rwhp with sport cats/bypass pipes & filter.

My dyno alone on the first post in this thread proves that. I ran 480rwhp in the absolute worst testing conditions possible.

I don't think its unrealistic to see GTS's with a Protune and full bolt-ons (including IC's) to be around 550rwhp.

Those Mustang dyno numbers are to the wheels, not crank.

For reference, with a stock GTS, Cobb put down 423 rwhp and 409 rwtq. With their tune, they put down 506 rwhp and 488 rwtq.

Gains of 83 HP to the wheels and 79 TQ to the wheels with a tune only.

Adding bolt-one like bypass pipes/sport cats, headers, and filter, I think we’ll be seeing increases of over 100 HP to the wheels on stock GTS turbos.

It's been a couple of months since Methods first post. Must have a good amount of seat time, Any feedback? Anything changed after the tune you didn't like?

Absolutely, no negatives, couldn't be happier. Like stock drivability with just massively more power.

I recently uninstalled the tune to bring it into the dealership and its borderline depressing driving the car around without the tune, its that noticeable.

I bought my car because I have a buddy with a 991.1 turbo that Ive always loved, he recently rode in the car and says it feels just as fast as his car. The turbos have more tq, but they also have 400lbs and AWD.

@method or anyone , when changing the OTS maps on the AP due you use or need a battery tender . Or only recommended for actual AP installs and reinstalls .
also , when heading to dealer do you deinstall AP or just flash to factory map on AP.
