The CR Spotless works great. I use it for my final rinse, even in bright sunlight, and let it sit without wiping. The car drys without a spot.

Wash the car after a weekend of driving? Heck no......I wait till the car is dirty. I might decide to take a shower at the end of the weekend if I am really dirty......

I'm a big fan of quick detailers, spray waxes and quality microfiber cloths rather than frequent washes, and my all-time-favorite-I-wish-discovered-it-years-ago product is Meguiar's D156 Synthetic X-Press Spray Wax. Awesome stuff, leaves the paint looking great, but also works on wheels, plastic, glass, even interior surfaces. Zero residue. Did I mention I love this stuff? But don't take my word for it, google it and you'll see I'm not alone.

Comes in gallons only, but only $33/gallon. Buy it and a couple of quality spray bottles and your good for a LONG time.

If the car is dirtier than a spray detailer can deal with, optimum no-rinse is the next level.

The car has to be pretty darn dirty to have me getting out the foam cannon and two-bucket system, absolutely not every ride or every week. And if I do wash, the D156 is then used as a spray on drying aid.

I usually detail it with a detail spray after a few drives when its clearly dirty. I do not like to leave bug stuff or other things that may be difficult to get off later on. I have only washed it a few times with the foam cannon but mostly I detail it with waterless sprays when I wash it. Prior to having the Suntek PPF on I would use AERO wash and wax which worked very well. Now Ill use the Chem guys clear seal detailer and or Poorboy's world spray and wipe. Both work well and if its really dirty Ill use a wet microfiber with the spray and wipe it down with a dry microfiber. My car always comes out looking great once I'm done and its quick.

Are people really washing their car after every weekend of driving? I'd rather be driving than washing. I honestly can't even remember the last time I washed my car. Maybe back in March? I did finally break down and detail the inside 2 weekends ago. Amazing how dirty cabs can get INSIDE!

Once every 2-3 weeks for me but then again lava orange doesn't show it as much as my previous black 911did.

I was foam canon/washing my car every two weeks but recently started using Optimum No Rinse as a quick detailer and this is saving me a ton of effort. Probably wash once a month if really needed. Still need to ceramic coat my rims as the brake dust is a pain.

i don't normally drive in the rain so my black stays pretty clean for a while as long as i regularly dust the car down with a duster. i do windex the window often and i've even lazily resorted to wiping the hood and front bumper with the windex while i'm doing the windows

i do have full PPF so less worry
