Default 991 and 991.2 Technical info - engine specs - buyer's guide...

Is there a one-stop-shop post or forum or web-page that breaks down the various minor (and major) changes from year to year for the 911 that one of you kind folks could steer me to? I am beginning to look into picking up a low mile 991 GTS or 991.2 GTS and want to see what, where and when the changes took place. For example, what year did they go from NA to turbo? (I want natural aspiration) When did they go to 7-MT from the 6-MT? Any other significant changes from say 2013-2017?

Sorry if this is one of those newbie pokes his head in to look around posts but...

EDIT: I did find this article but it doesn't address the year breakdown 6-MT v. 7-MT.

Also, was the change to 991.2 a mid year thing or was the 2015 a NA and the 2016 a turbo?

Not sure if the dropbox links in this thread still work (dropbox is blocked at my work):

If you want people's opinions on the differences, you can check out this thread:

Oh, and all 991 MT's are 7-speed (both .1 and .2). All 2016's are NA, all 2017+'s are turbo (except GT3, 911R, etc)

I believe the 7 MT had a 991 2012 debut.

2016 is the last year for NA engines in North America.. 2017 is the 991.2 featuring the 3.0t.

In Europe I believe midway through the year there were some 2016 991.2 models released.

Thanks to both of you. I appreciate the guidance. So the prospect of a 2016 GTS cab in 7-MT is attainable. Good to know.
