The 4 and 4S guys should take a measurement from the light bar and post here for documentation and future reference.

Does this apply for if you just go with '911'?

Not sure I understand your question. The factory does not allow the deletion of PORSCHE, only the deletion of the model. So there's no set precedent. I'd say 62mm is a good starting point. Hold it here temporarily and see how you like it.

Sorry, I should have been a little clearer; yes I mean if I wanted to just have 911 is that spot probably a good point to go with. I think your reco as it being a starting point makes sense.
Thanks!

Yes, I think that's what you should do.

Forum member "plenum" bought a set. I don't think they're cheap. Somewhere close to $1,000 maybe?? They have the main piece and you buy the separate inserts for different models. All Sunset Porsche parts and get a $$. Part #'s are in the pic.

His email is in the pic too.

So what the hell the dealer was thinking in the first place? It probably took more time to make it straight like they did the first time than using the factory stencil/ template.

There is, or at least was, an option to replace your model designation with "911". I have it on my 2013.

Correct. But not the option to remove the word "PORSCHE" which impacts spacing.
