Thanks. I've used the Adam's Polishes equivalent for years and will continue to do so. While we had some years of drought in CA it was almost the only way my cars were washed.

Reporting in on some self-healing. I had a big bee poop spot on the frunk lid which I didn't remove for three of four days, partly as an experiment on how the C-pro would resist the etching. Nope, still etched, and after this happened to my previous car and it never coming out with multiple machine polishes, I wanted to try the heat gun healing a C-pro installer showed on youtube. I found I couldn't get much heat into the lid, it just dissipated too quickly and I wasn't going to be too zealous either. Yesterday I allowed the same hot sun that baked the poop on in the first place to give the clean surface another bake. I checked the area last night and the etch has gone. Five layer coating, hot SoCal sun, black paint. YMMV.

Perfection Detailing in Fallston, MD did my 991.2 Targa 4S in Night Blue Metallic. Not cheap, but neither would a paint repair be. The car looks fantastic IMO. But, you be the judge. As to worth it? I think so.

Got my 991.1 Turbo back last week after 3/4 Xpel and ceramic coating. Looks amazing. A few minor issues with the wrap that the installer has agreed to fix. Cost a few bucks but now when I hit a pile of gravel and hear it hitting the fenders I don’t cringe (as much).

Got mine back this Saturday. Loved the results. It rained today (Sunday) and I drove it in the rain on purpose to see the results. Very pleased.

Really? Why the hate?

He concurred with someone else's answer to a question. (Apologies if I entered this conversation late in the game and you were keying off an established joke.)

Perhaps take your own advice? Someone agreeing with another comment in a thread is infinitely more constructive than what you posted. Smh

Mine survived the 2 minutes from dealer delivery to PPF and Ceramic Pro installer OK. Don't think I'd go much longer without it though.

So here’s a question I haven’t seen asked/answered: how do these ceramic coatings eventually “wear out”? Do they slowly get washed off the finish? Just lose their luster? They can’t “flake” like a defective/worn out clear coat, right?

IMO it’s really strong wax. It wears out/off. That’s my opinion. Would love to here some facts.
