A/C Issue - Passenger side
Hey guys,
My 991 A/C is acting funny - the 2 driver's side vent blow ice cold air while the 2 passenger side and the dashboard vents are blowing warm/non-air conditioned air. Any thoughts on what could be going on here?
Porsche dealer can't get me in for 2 weeks and of course they want $150 just to diagnose before they'll even tell me what we're looking at here.

I'm not sure if it's relevant to your particular issue, but there are known problems with the changeover valves (COV). I had one go bad recently that caused my heat to stop working.

Could be the blower going bad. Had that issue with my previous Panamera, hardly any air going through or not that cold, while you hear the blower going with no air/hardly any air.

Sounds like the flaps that control the airflow path are not operating.

Heard of this happening to another brand when the Freon gets low. Keeps the driver cool until it’s fixed. Lots of possibilities.

I had a problem like that on my cayman when the freon got low ( leak). It progressed to no cooling anywhere later.
If it improved, not likely freon leak. More likely a stuck flap or valve. Wait until it happens again then try dealer.
