Color Codes?
Hi, would someone be kind enough to give me the Black color codes that were available on the 2016 GTS. I can't find Metallic Black...Thanks in advance. Not sure if I have Basalt Black or Jet Black, but mine has definitely Metallic in it. Or where is the code located on the car? Or is there a website to put your vin number so that it would tell you the paint code?

Both Jet Black LC9X and Basalt Black LC9Z were used on 991 models. Locations should be on the back of the gas door or behind the rear bumper ( removed) also check your owners manual for the additional build sheet. Have you tried the porsche admin website with your vin ? That will tell you what the paint code is. Cman21 |

Basalt Black was on the earlier 991s. (I had a 2012.5 991S that was Basalt Black.) |
Thank you can you post the build sheet, possibly?

Just FYI, the 3rd digit in the VIN is a zero "0" not an "O" in case you need to use it again. Very nice build. |
